Executive Director

Jessica Milich is the Executive Director of Sequoia Springs Senior Living in sunny Fortuna. She is native of Fortuna and her family has been in the community for many generations. Jessica started her career at Sequoia Springs in October of 2020 and says she, “fell in love with the Residents”. She has embraced the culture of our residents and staff and says, “I knew this is where I wanted to be. I am a proud member of this community and continue to learn and grow alongside these amazing people”.

Jessica started her Career in health care in 1991 as a certified nursing assistant in a local skilled nursing facility. From there she continued to learn and grow in her healthcare career. Jessica become a Medical Assistant and later went on to a career in pharmacy. She worked for Redwood/St Josephs and traveled nationwide to broaden her knowledge of pharmaceuticals and became an IV Chemotherapy compounding technician. She has earned her California certification as a Residential Care for the Elderly Administrator license and plans to incorporate this skill set with her past experiences in healthcare to support Sequoia Springs Senior Living’s growth. Community Relations Director

Sara Anderson is a seventh generation Humboldt County resident who is inspired by the residents in our community and believes in serving them with love and compassion. Sara started working for Sequoia Springs Senior Living Center as the Activities Director and has now become our Community Relations Director. In addition to Activities Director, Sara has eight years of sales experience and a background in teaching. She graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor of Art degree and earned a teaching credential in 2010. In Sara’s free time you will find her hiking in our beautiful redwood forests, kayaking in the lagoons, camping with her friends and family, or reading a good book. She looks forward to meeting with you and your loved ones.

Business Office Manager

Andrea Wrisley is a Humboldt County native who graduated from Fortuna High in 2006. She joined our team as the Business Office Manager in November of 2020. Prior to joining our team, Andrea worked for the County of Humboldt. She is experienced in finance and human resources. In her free time, Andrea enjoys reading, hiking, and horseback riding. She also co-manages a local riding stable giving riding lessons to disadvantaged youth. She is absolutely thrilled to assist with any questions or concerns you have and is always happy to make time for our residents and family members!
