Life Enrichment
Every month our Activities Director, Ashley Wood, plans a full calendar around what our residents enjoy. There is something going on every day, and families are always welcome to join in.
Stay Active: Chair yoga, chair tai chi, seated stretching, strength training with weights and bands, cardio drumming, balloon badminton and adaptive PE.
Get Out and About: Regular outings around Humboldt, like the Clarke Museum with lunch at Gallagher's Irish Pub, Clendenen's Cider Works, the Fortuna pumpkin patch, scenic drives, shopping trips and ice cream stops.
Create and Learn: Baking club, gardening club, open art studio, flower arranging, painting, documentaries and guest speakers.
Music and Fun: Live music and happy hour on Fridays, karaoke, sing alongs, bingo, trivia, puzzles and movie nights with popcorn.
Faith and Reflection: Sunday services from local churches, gospel music, communion, visits from local congregations and guided meditation.
Community Connections: Visits from local Girl Scouts and kindergarten classes, Alzheimer's awareness events, and seasonal celebrations like our Halloween party and community trick or treating.
